At 13:30 the light at the end of the Hadera coal jetty and the light at the end of the western breakwater of Hadera harbour (flashing green) were in transit. A compass bearing of them was 083°. At the same time the range to the end of the coal jetty was 0.5 miles. Find:

  1. The compass error. 5°W
  2. The vessel's position at 13:30 (measure the position to a tenth of a minute). 32°28.13'N 034°51.2'E
