1. Outside the western breakwater of Hadera harbour are the two depth contours nearest the breakwater, whose depths are not marked. What should the depths of these contours be? The depth contours mark depths of 5 m and 10 m.
2. Your vessel is 0.4 miles north of the head of the coal jetty at Hadera. Are you allowed to anchor in this position? Give reasons for your answer. No. This is within harbour limits, marked as an area where anchoring is prohibited.
3. Give the characteristics of the main lighthouse at Ashdod. 3 white flashes every 20 seconds, height 76 m, range 22 miles.
